(Sega AM1's universe)
David (デビッド, Debiddo ) is a male humanoid creature that appears in The House of the Dead 2, its upcoming remake, The House of the Dead 4, and The House of the Dead 4 Special. He is a weak, slow-moving and common enemy.
Appearance[]
In The House Of The Dead 2, David is a shirtless creature with tattered jeans, a bulging eye, and chunks of flesh missing from his face and chest. He attacks by biting or swiping at the player.
In The House Of The Dead 4, David closely resembles his appearance in the second game. The only differences are that David now has his right arm with the muscle exposed along with a piece of the chest and a piece of the stomach muscle exposed. He's got a pale skin. Besides, he seems to be a little muscular now, as much as he's a slow, weak creature.
Gameplay[]
Much like Sam from the original House of the Dead, David is of no real threat by himself; he lacks weapons, and his health is low enough that he dies in one headshot. When appearing among groups of creatures, however, he is more dangerous. He tends to slowly lumber toward players, but moves faster when shot anywhere but his head.
In The House of the Dead 4, David attacks by swiping, or grabbing the player to bite him. David, with other creatures or alone, can knock down the player to step on him. Sometimes, David can knock down the player, then crouch on him and bite him. David can stand lurking under tables and then grab the player's foot to swiping him.
Trivia[]
- In The House of the Dead 4, there is an alternate version of David named David 2. This version has larger, more rotten chunks of missing flesh, lacks a bulging eye, and wears purple pants. He otherwise shares the same behavior as David.
