The Devilon (also simply known as the Bat) is a recurring zombie-type animal from the House of the Dead series. They are small bat-like creatures who often fly in groups, biting with their fangs.

Throughout the series, Devilons have always had a distinctive squeak noise upon death.

Bestiary Overview

In the original game, Devilon's appearance bears a striking resemblance to the Townsend's big-eared bat with green/black-colored fur.

Appearances

The House of the Dead

Referred to as Bats, the Devilons appear first in small groups. A large group of them fly around with the Hangedman, who sends several of them at the players. Any remaining bat will fall when half of the Hangedman's health is depleted, but the player won't gain any points from them.
