English of the Dead is an educational spin-off to The House of the Dead 2 developed by Now Production and released by Sega to the Nintendo DS in Japan on May 29, 2008. The game involves translating Japanese words into English to kill creatures.

Gameplay

As creatures approach, panels with Japanese text appear over them. Players must write the English translations with the DS stylus; successfully doing so kills the creature, who shouts out the English phrase that was just entered.
