English of the Dead is an educational spin-off of The House of the Dead 2, developed by Now Production and released exclusively to the Nintendo DS in Japan on May 28, 2008. The game involves translating Japanese words into English to kill creatures.

Gameplay

As zombies approach, panels with Japanese text appear over them. Players must write the English translations with the DS stylus; successfully doing so kills the zombie, who shouts out the English phrase that was just entered.
