UDS-06B is the sixth boss encountered in Zombie Revenge, being fought in Area 6, Cassandra in a station near the train yard after the player exits the train.

History

UDS-06B was an A-type Undead Soldier (U.D.S.) that was developed as a fixed turret-type monstrosity with a powerful self-defense capability. UDS-06B was the "B-type" (possibly abbreviated as Beta-type) that eliminated all the problems of the laser-systems, its preferred method of attack, which was a disadvantage of the A-type. A disgusting looking conjoined creature its body consists of a large mushroom shaped blob of green slime with a long snaking neck emerging from it which ended in the creature’s two heads. The larger frilled and skull-like head bore only a single eye in the center of its forehead, while from its mouth instead of a tongue emerged the upper body of a cute blue skinned female humanoid with a laser projector on her own head.

Gameplay

The pairs attacks mostly consists of firing a burning laser at the player from the projector the little blue girl has. While powerful it also opens the pair up to attack as the blue girl is the conjoined creature’s most vulnerable point and can be shot at. Occasionally instead of the laser the larger head will instead vomit a stream of green slime while it’s head chases the player. Alternatively If the player stays still for too long or gets too close to the larger head it may rear back before slamming into them. Finally it will sometimes thump its large head on the ground causing earth scorpions like those from the UDS-02 fight to fall from the ceiling and then attack the player. Overall the best strategy is to just keep pumping it full of lead from a distance and make sure not to forget about the scorpions lest they swamp you.
