Gao Qiu was an advisor from the Song Dynasty who battles with a blue dragon in the JiuQuYuan palace. While he's not seen physically (although in some part, he can be seen for a few moments), he does attack the students throughout the palace with his spectral Cuju ball-like projectiles. He is one of the bosses of Sega Golden Gun. Depending on the routes taken, he is the boss of either the second, third, or fourth chapter. His weak point was his entire body.

Trivia

• Like the rest of Golden Gun's bosses. His appearance is inspired by one of the Four Auspicious Beasts from Chinese mythology and constellations.
  • In Gao Qiu's case. He resembles the Azure Dragon, it also being the dragon he fights alongside. The Azure Dragon represents the direction of east, the season of spring, and wuxing of wood.
• Gao Qiu's battle is similar to that of Judgment's. Where he flies around a nigh indestructible ally, serving as the weakpoint.
