The Lobber is the boss at the end of The Fetid Waters level of The House of the Dead: Overkill. He is the fifth boss of the game. He is a large mutant with toad-like characteristics and can lob parts of itself at its enemies. Like toads, he hides in the swamp before his initial encounter.
When Lobber rises up out of the "Fetid Waters", G and Isaac Washington tell him to wait while they settle this next encounter over a game of rock, paper, scissors. G wins, and Washington goes up to the beast, telling it that it's under arrest and has the right to remain silent, only to be spewed on. Washington pulls out his guns and the battle begins.
The creature seems to be a hybrid of human and toad. Human due to its humanoid face and toad due it's toad-like appearance and features. He has large fleshy bumps containing gastric like fluids that harm anyone it interacts with and will be used to throw it at his enemies. Some of it can be regenerated offering himself unlimited sources of fluids he creates probably because of the elements provided within the swamp that combines with its body when mutated. His sluggish skin texture doesn't make him weak but does give some disadvantages like his arm being its weakness.
TacticsLobber's main attacks involve "lobbing" large round chunks of his body at the player(s). At the same time, swarms of bats will also come to attack the player(s) at certain points during the battle. His weak points are his arms during this portion of the battle.
In the final confrontation, Lobber will move in closer and must be shot in the head to be defeated and collapse into the water and involve regenerated the player.
After the Battle
In the following cutscene, G and Washington make it out back to the main road while showing their understanding and appreciation of each other, disguised as the usual arguments.
