Type G-3, named Taran (タラン, Taran^?), is a spider-like creature. It is an enemy in The House of the Dead and its 2022 remake, The House of the Dead 4, and the spin-off Loving Deads: The House of the Dead EX. Tarans attack by biting.

Appearance[]

In the original The House of the Dead, Taran is equal to a tarantula. His whole body is green. Besides, he has four orange eyes.

In The House of the Dead 4 Taran is a little smaller. He also has purple, orange and yellow stripes on his paws, along with the rest of his body having a mixture of purple and yellow. Besides, he has four green eyes.

In the remake, his legs got thinner. His body is now light green. And, his eyes are clear green now.

Gameplay[]

In The House of the Dead, and its remake, Taran always jumps from ceilings to attack the player. He dies from one shot and attacks biting

In The House of the Dead 4, Taran is now only seen in the Lovers fight. He now jumps on top of the player and then he takes a bite.
